About
Montessori Farm School is a small, non-profit school established to provide an excellent Montessori education for our children. Many folks in the community have heard of “the farm school” started and run by Lisa Tate, our Head of School. The Montessori Children’s House at Barefoot Acres was the original “ farm school,” which combined a traditional Montessori classroom with a beautiful farm environment.
We've founded Montessori Farm School as a non-profit entity in order to provide a lasting, community-based school for generations of children to come. Lisa’s excellence as an educator and administrator is evident by the large and committed group of parents who have established MFS in order to maintain such a rare educational environment for our children.
