"I can see clearly how the Montessori way is helping to develop my son in every facet of his growth. It is a wonderful gift to have such a knowledgeable, engaged and confident little person to enjoy life with."

"We could not be happier. The Montessori experience, especially the way in which MFS's teachers, reveal and work with it's marvelous strengths as a learning and teaching philosophy, touches every aspect of children's lives. They have that rare gift for making everything into a learning experience.

"My six year old daughter's Montessori experience started when she was 2 1/2. While most 6 year olds focus on their small worlds, my daughter's overall focus is on how she fits and works in balance with the world around her. The farm school setting gave my child an invaluable and unique experience in this regard. The Montessori method as taught by our teachers, combined with the farm, gardening and animals helped to make her a more complete individual. She's autonomous, confident and respectful because of this school."

"We cannot believe our good fortune that this very schooling experience is right here in our neighborhood. We would travel a great distance to take our child to a school so incomparable in so many ways. It is an environment completely defined by love, safety, learning, friendship and exposure to the wonders of every stage of childhood-both indoor and outdoor.

"My three year old is absolutely thriving in the Montessori classroom. He loves and is so proud of his independence. It is a joy to watch him grow and learn in such a loving and attentive environment of teachers, peers, and families." Misti A.
practical life lesson
"I have never seen any other teachers in any environment who genuinely cares about and loves each and every student as much as our teachers. It is immediately obvious while observing how the children interact with them, and one another: there is a level of mutual respect that is uncommon in most classrooms, especially at the preschool level."

"My favorite thing about this school is the lack of limitations. Our child has accomplished more than we ever would have thought possible for a 5 year old. Academically, he's reading and multiplying. Socially, he can address disputes respectfully. Physically, he's swinging on monkey bars, and developing strength and coordination.

"The teachers at MFS respect and enjoy children more than any educators I have ever known. They educate the whole child; they marry strong academics with cultivating a compassionate, socially developed child with the ability to self manage and take responsibility for their actions."

"Coming from a "traditional" setting into a Montessori school setting was a big adjustment for our family, yet it was soo worth it! Once I saw the amazing things my son was able to experience and accomplish, I was moved to tears. I was also surprised to find an amazing community of parents that are pro-active, supportive, nurturing and really fun to be around."
